The Vessel
The Rose of Innisfree is a modern, all-weather tourboat able to accommodate 72 passengers in complete comfort and safety. The vessel has a fully enclosed heated cabin area, offers a range of onboard snacks and refreshments and is also fully licensed.
All our crew are professionally trained and happy to answer any questions or provide any help you need while out on the water
The Experience
The cruise lasts about an hour, taking in some of Ireland’s most spectacular scenery in the heart of Yeats Country – the landscape that inspired our most famous poet.
Your skipper, Alan, will provide a fascinating and entertaining commentary as you pass the many places of interest along the way. You’ll hear about local myths and legend, as well as the history of the lough and its wildlife. You’ll also hear some of Yeats’ poetry recited in the very landscape that inspired it – including The Lake Isle of Innisfree itself.
