Our Story
Established in 1992 by George and Tina McGoldrick, we’re still a family business today, with the second generation proudly showing beautiful Lough Gill, the Lake Isle of Innisfree, Parke’s Castle and Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands to visitors throughout the year.
We’re based in County Leitrim, bordering County Sligo and the landscape so beloved of our national poet and Nobel laureate WB Yeats – many of whose poems, were inspired by these waters and this landscape.
Our guided boat trips on the lough and from Parke’s Castle offer an afternoon adventure with a difference for families with children – as well as anyone who just wants to take time out amid these stunning surroundings, and make some memories to cherish.
The skipper, Alan, will provide an entertaining and informative commentary during the tour, pointing out places of interest, the varied wildlife and telling a few of the myths and legends associated with this landscape. There may also be some poetry recited (maybe even a song or two!).
Our vessel is a modern cruiser able to accommodate up to 72 passengers in comfort and complete safety. It’s also fully covered – so you can enjoy a tour with us all year round, whatever the weather.
